One of our surveyors will visit your property to carry out a detailed assessment. This includes reviewing property suitability, available installation space, existing electrical systems, and any factors that may affect system performance or installation.
Following the survey, we’ll make any necessary amendments to the system design and specification based on the survey findings and any preferences or requests you may have. Once you are happy with the proposal, we’ll move forward to the next stage.
We’ll guide you through the relevant contracts and documentation required for the installation. At this stage, we’ll also complete any necessary paperwork and notifications on your behalf.
Once everything has been approved, we’ll agree on a suitable installation date. Our engineers will install and commission your system in line with industry standards, ensuring everything is operating safely and efficiently. Once complete, we’ll guide you through the system, monitoring platform, and key information so you feel confident using it.
What’s the difference between tethered and untethered chargers?
Tethered EV chargers have a built-in charging cable, making them quick and convenient to use, just plug in and charge up. Untethered chargers, on the other hand, require you to use your own separate cable, which offers more flexibility, compatibility with different vehicles, and a tidier look when the charger isn’t in use.
Can anyone use my EV charger?
No, access to your charger can be controlled. Most home EV chargers come with built-in security features such as app-based locking, RFID cards, or PIN protection. This means only authorised users can charge their vehicle, so you don’t need to worry about someone else using your charger without permission.
