Founded in 2001 as a plumbing and heating company, Menai Heating has grown with a clear focus; delivering high-performing heat and renewable solutions whilst investing in our local communities.

Our Background
Since 2005, we have been at the forefront of renewable technology, pioneering the installation of solar thermal and photovoltaic systems.
In 2009, we expanded our offerings with ground source heat pumps, air source heat pumps, and biomass boilers. We also became the first company in Wales to install a non-domestic biomass boiler under the Renewable Heat Incentive (RHI). Through RHI and Feed-in Tariff funding, we have helped customers adopt clean energy, saving money and supporting a greener future.

In 2015, we discovered the Energy Company Obligation (ECO) scheme, igniting a new mission to reduce fuel poverty, lower carbon emissions, and support vulnerable homes.

With two offices on the picturesque Isle of Anglesey, a team of 46 dedicated staff members, all local to Anglesey and Gwynedd, and a network of trusted subcontractors, our presence has expanded. However, our vision remains unshaken.
We take immense pride in partnering with commercial, residential and public sectors. All driven by the shared goal of reaching a more sustainable future.
Looking Ahead
The next step in our renewable journey.
Over the past few years, we’ve been steadily evolving, with private renewable installations now becoming the main focus of our business. While we continue to deliver the trusted renewable solutions we’ve been installing for many years, we’ve also expanded into new areas to meet the changing needs of our customers and communities.
Today, our services include commercial solar installations, heat pump servicing, air-to-air heat pumps, and air conditioning systems. We’re also proud to be working closely with a growing number of housing associations and public sector organisations, helping to deliver high-quality, energy-efficient solutions on a larger scale.
As we enter this new chapter, our commitment remains the same: providing expert advice, quality workmanship, and renewable technologies that make a lasting difference.
