At the core of Menai Heating’s evolution lies a strong commitment to creating energy-efficient, comfortable, and sustainable homes. Our journey began in 2001 as a plumbing and heating services company, and it’s a testament to our dedication to our ambitions as a company now.

In 2005, we boldly ventured into the renewable energy industry, pioneering the installation of cutting-edge solar thermal and solar photovoltaic systems. We pushed the boundaries further in 2009 by introducing ground source heat pumps, air source heat pumps, and biomass boilers. Our spirit of innovation reached new heights when we proudly became the first company to install a non-domestic biomass boiler under the Renewable Heat Incentive (RHI) scheme in Wales. Through the RHI and Feed-In Tariff funding, we have empowered countless customers to embrace clean, renewable energy, saving them money and contributing to a greener future.

Our journey has been marked by a commitment to staying ahead of the curve. We were installing heat pumps and solar systems before they gained widespread recognition or became prominent choices in the private industry and the Energy Company Obligation (ECO) scheme. We recognized the immense potential of these technologies to transform the energy landscape, and our dedication to their adoption has been unwavering.

In 2015, we discovered the Energy Company Obligation (ECO) scheme, igniting a new mission to reduce fuel poverty, lower carbon emissions, and support vulnerable homes. Today, we operate as two distinct entities: one focuses primarily on ECO, offering a comprehensive range of grant-funded measures to uplift homes and lives, while the other specializes in private installations of heat pumps and solar systems.

With two offices on the picturesque Isle of Anglesey, a team of 26 dedicated staff members, all localto Anglesey and Gwynedd, and a network of trusted subcontractors, our presence has expanded. However, our vision remains unshaken. We take immense pride in partnering with homeowners, tenants, councils, and landlords, all driven by the shared goal of making homes warmer, more affordable, and healthier.
