Throughout the beginning of this year, the Menai team have been supporting Hope House Ty Gobaith. Hope house provides specialist care and support for children with life threatening conditions, as well as support for their families through difficult times.
On Friday 14th March, the whole Menai team took on the challenge of climbing Snowdon. The weather was unpredictable, and the route was tough in places, but we made it to the top together. More importantly, it gave us the chance to raise awareness and funds for a charity that does so much for those in need.
Last weekend, Saturday 17th May, a few brave members form the Menai team took on an even more daunting challenge, abseiling down the Marquess Tower. As well as taking part, Menai proudly sponsored the Anglesey Abseil! Supporting the event in this way meant we could make a bigger impact, not just by stepping over the edge ourselves, but helping other do the same for a great cause.
Both of these events remind us of the importance of community, teamwork and doing what we can to support those facing difficult times. We’re proud of the effort everyone at Menai has put in and grateful for all the support we received, from donations to kind messages and words of encouragement.
