Through the support of the ECO4 scheme, we recently delivered a full home energy upgrade for a property in need of improved comfort, lower running costs, and long-term efficiency. This install included solar panels, an air source heat pump, internal wall insulation, and loft insulation, transforming the home into a warm, energy-efficient space powered by renewables.
EPC rating of the property went from a F29 to B89.
Scope of work
We installed four 450W solar panels on the south-facing roof and five 450W panels on the west-facing roof, all set at a 30-degree pitch.
The existing heating system was replaced with a modern 16kW air source heat pump, which provides reliable heating and hot water throughout the home. The system is paired with a 200L hot water cylinder and 16 new radiators.
To prevent heat loss and improve overall energy performance, we installed 152 metres of internal wall insulation and 89 square metres of loft insulation.
