The 16Kw Riello Air Source heat pump was fitted with a 150L water cylinder to efficiently heat the home. The system includes 14 radiators, each fitted with a thermostatic radiator valve (TRV), allowing temperature control in individual rooms.

Additionally, 8 south-facing 3.32kW solar panels on a 30-degree slope, connected to a Sunsynk inverter fitted in the loft. A Solic 200 enables the solar panels to divert any excess energy generated into the hot water tank.

We installed 60.74 square metres of room-in-roof insulation and 89.60 square metres of internal wall insulation, both with a thickness of 95mm. 64.45 square metres of cavity wall insulation was installed in other parts of the house.

We installed a 16kW air source heat pump at the rear of the property. This works with a 200L hot water cylinder, also located in the plant room, to deliver consistent heating and hot water throughout the home. Inside, 17 new radiators were installed, each fitted with thermostatic radiator valves (TRVs) to give the homeowner control over individual room temperatures.

75.5 metres of ThermaBead cavity wall insulation was pumped into the home’s external walls, significantly boosting heat retention and comfort.
