To meet the home’s electricity needs, we installed 20 x 500W JA Solar panels. These panels are connected to a Solis 8kW string inverter, ensuring efficient energy conversion and system performance.

To maximise the benefits of solar generation, we also fitted 2 x 9.5kWh batteries. These allow the homeowner to store excess electricity generated during the day and use it later, reducing reliance on the grid and increasing energy independence.

Heating and hot water are supplied by a WPF13S Stiebel ground source heat pump, a reliable and efficient solution that uses the earth’s natural warmth to maintain a comfortable indoor environment. To support the system, we drilled three 95-metre boreholes into the driveway, providing the heat pump with a stable and efficient ground loop source year round.

The heating system is distributed through two underfloor heating circuits, along with seven radiators placed throughout the property.
