If you’ve had an air source heat pump installed by Menai Heating, the heating control system fitted in your home will depend on the manufacturer and when your installation took place.
For our earlier Riello and Midea heat pump installations, we typically fitted either an EPH or Homely heating control system, rather than the manufacturer’s own controller. These were selected for their ease of use and ability to help homeowners manage their heating efficiently while maintaining a comfortable home.
For our more recent Vaillant and Stiebel Eltron installations, your heat pump will be operated using the manufacturer’s own heating control system, designed to work directly with your heat pump.
To help you get the most out of your system, we’ve included user guides for each of these heating controls below. Simply select the controller installed in your home to find guidance on operating your heating, adjusting settings and maintaining comfort while maximising energy efficiency.

These changes are outside of Menai Heating’s control and may affect the availability of manufacturer support and warranty services.
We recommend that customers with GivEnergy systems familiarise themselves with the latest support arrangements and any associated costs.

Are there currently any grants available?
Yes! We currently offer the Boiler Upgrade Scheme (BUS), providing eligible homeowners with funding towards the cost of a heat pump installation. See below for full details. Unfortunately there are no fully funded grant schemes available at present.
