On Saturday 26 September, some of the Menai team headed to St Asaph Cathedral for the Tŷ Gobaith Gala Ball. It was a chance to dress up and enjoy an evening together, but most of all, to support a charity that means a great deal to us. Hope House and Tŷ Gobaith are our Charity of the Year.
The Hope House fundraising team put together a wonderful evening, with dinner, entertainment and an auction that kept everyone involved. Thanks to the team’s hard work and the generosity of everyone in the room, the evening raised an incredible £50,000 for local children and families.
The moment that will stay with us most was hearing from Matilda’s parents. They shared their daughter’s story and spoke about the care their family has received from Tŷ Gobaith. There was plenty of laughter during the auction too, and three of the Menai girls came away as winners! We’re grateful to the fundraising team for bringing everyone together for such a special night.
Join us at the Penrhyn Castle Dark Run
Our support for Hope House and Tŷ Gobaith continues next month. Menai Heating is proud to be the headline sponsor of the Penrhyn Castle Dark Run on Saturday 17 October. The Menai team will be taking part, and we’d love your support.
You can walk, jog or run the 3K route through the castle grounds after dark, with a shorter 1.5K route for little legs. Come along, cheer everyone on and help raise money for the children and families supported by Hope House and Tŷ Gobaith.
