A Seamlessly Integrates Solar System

Set within a beautiful coastal location in North Wales, this property offered an excellent opportunity to make better use of the available roof space through a carefully designed solar and battery storage system.

The homeowner wanted a renewable energy system that would allow them to generate more of their own electricity, store surplus energy for use later in the day and reduce their reliance on electricity from the grid.

Our team designed and installed a complete solar PV and battery storage system tailored to the property, its energy requirements and the available roof space.

Together, the solar panels and battery provide a more flexible way for the homeowner to generate, store and use renewable electricity throughout the day.

Making Better Use of Solar Energy

During daylight hours, the solar panels generate renewable electricity that can be used directly within the home.

When the system produces more electricity than the property requires, surplus energy can be stored within the 11.5kWh Fox battery rather than being immediately exported to the grid.

The stored electricity can then be used later in the day or during the evening when solar generation is lower, helping the homeowner make better use of the renewable energy generated at the property.

Storfa Batri

The Fox battery storage system provides 11.5kWh of usable energy storage, giving the homeowner greater flexibility over when their solar-generated electricity is used.

Battery storage can help increase the amount of renewable electricity used within the home and reduce the need to purchase electricity from the grid during periods when household demand is higher.

The system can also be monitored through an app, allowing the homeowner to view solar generation, battery storage and household electricity use.

Backup Power

As part of the installation, we included a double-socket backup power supply.

In the event of a power cut, these dedicated sockets can continue to provide electricity from the battery, subject to the available battery charge and system operating limits.

This provides additional reassurance by allowing selected essential devices to remain powered during a grid outage.

The Results

The completed system provides the homeowner with a practical way to generate and store more of their own renewable electricity.

With 20 solar panels, 11.5kWh of battery storage and dedicated backup power, the system has been designed to support the property’s energy requirements both now and into the future.
